@jrandom42: Aw, old Hank is crying somewhere over your cold, cold heart. (Ha! See what I did there?) And I'd have to say that Hank Sr. isn't the type of country that really puts me in an optimistic mood, either.

Hate country music. I still believe Hell has an endless (perpetually) loop of Hank Williams Sr. playing in the background.

I love Country Music. Sometimes it makes me happy, sometimes sad and sometimes it's so darned silly it just makes me laugh. What it very rarely does is bore me and that is more than I can say for rap, what currently passes for rock and generic "elevator" music.
Thanks for the list, it's a good one and I would add just about anything from Patsy Cline...just her voice makes me happy!

Hi Serendipity, I've also heard that music affects your mood (Baroque music induces alpha waves which stimulates creative thinking). I've never paid much attention to country music but I'm always open to trying new things. I'm going to make a note of the songs you suggest on your post and listen to them.
